Welcome to DanaMM – Simple Personal Finance App (“DanaMM”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy & Security Policy explains how we handle, protect, and store your personal and financial data when you use our mobile application.

By using DanaMM, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

All data is stored locally on your device and remains under your full control.

Specifically, DanaMM stores:
• Your manually entered income and expense records
• Your custom categories and settings (e.g., dark mode, app passcode preference)

This data never leaves your device.



3. Local Data Storage

DanaMM uses a secure local database powered by Hive (a Flutter-based encrypted storage solution).
This ensures:
• Fast offline access
• Complete ownership of your data
• No need for an internet connection to manage your finances

All information is kept only within the app’s local storage area on your device.



4. Data Security

Your data’s safety is our top priority.
DanaMM includes several measures to ensure protection:
• Local-only storage: No cloud syncing or external servers.
• App passcode protection: Optional 4-digit passcode feature to prevent unauthorized access.
• System-level encryption: Your device’s operating system may add another layer of protection (e.g., Android data sandboxing).

We recommend enabling device-level security (PIN, pattern, or biometric lock) for additional protection.



5. User Control and Data Management

You have complete control over your data within DanaMM.
You can:
• Add, edit, or delete financial records at any time.
• Reset your account (delete all stored data) from within the app’s “Settings > Reset Account” option.
• Disable or enable the passcode protection feature at any time.

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered, as it is not stored or backed up externally.



6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

DanaMM does not share your data with:
• Third-party companies or advertisers
• Analytics providers
• Cloud or remote servers

The app does not include ads, third-party SDKs, or trackers.



7. Permissions

DanaMM may request minimal system permissions necessary for its core features:
• Storage Access: Used internally to store and manage Hive database files (no external access).

No other permissions (like location, contacts, or internet) are required or used.



8. Children’s Privacy

DanaMM is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from children.



9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy & Security Policy periodically to reflect improvements or new features in the app.
The latest version will always be available within the app and on our official website.

Significant changes will be highlighted in the app update notes.
